Sugimoto's paper on the diagnosis of lung cancer was published in "Thoracic Cancer" on 16th December.
The title is "Differential diagnosis of lung cancer and benign lung lesion using salivary metabolites: A preliminary study".
It shows that salivary metabolites can be an important non-invasive means of distinguishing between lung cancer and benign lung lesions.
