タイトルは「テトラヒドロビオプテリン（BH4）の再生に欠陥のあるマウスにおける、モノアミン代謝の撹乱と恐怖反応の増加」です。
この研究は、BH4代謝の乱れが末梢アミノ酸代謝の変化を通じて脳に影響を及ぼし、不安関連の精神障害の発症に寄与する可能性があることを示しています。
Dr.Sugimoto's paper on brain metabolism was published in "Journal of Neurochemistry" on 2nd March.
The title is "Perturbation of monoamine metabolism and enhanced fear responses in mice defective in the regeneration of tetrahydrobiopterin".
It suggests that the perturbation of BH4 metabolism should affect brain monoamine levels through alterations in peripheral amino acid metabolism, and might contribute to the development of anxiety-related psychiatric disorders.
